Well, ok, I'm not really... hehe

Chynna is 15 years old and somewhat hard of hearing. She can hear low pitched sounds like thumps and bumps, but unless I'm close to her and shouting I don't think she hears me well.

Tonight I popped the top of a can of Friskies and Abby came running, but Chynna was sleeping soundly on the back of the couch. I called her but she didn't come. So I carried the food to her and put it near to see if she would wake up. She kept right on snoring!!!

So I blew on it to send the smell at her and that sure got her attention! I never saw a cat wake up so fast and sit up so quickly as she did when she caught the smell of food under her nose!

What do you do to tease your kitty?

Well i made a nice stew last night and diced up a kg of raw roast beef. Charlie could smell it from a mile away and came running in, stretched up the side of the bench on tippy toes and almost took my fingers off
so i gave him a few pieces. I decided it wasn't fair to leave Jazzy out and she was all nestled up in her blanket on the couch, so i waved a little piece of beef near her nose, she woke up, sniffed it a little then fobbed it off. So i gave it to Chuckie.

I went back into the kitchen and heard mum yelling out now ive woken her up and she wants meat! But she didnt follow me.

Cleos even more fussy. For some reason if you pop a bit of fish or chicken in front of her, she won't eat it. Weird cat

Reeses likes to come inspect what we're eating. Alot of times she'll reach over and "pat" the food. I'll sometimes put my plate on the floor so she comes running and then take it away, or if I'm going to the kitchen with food to put away and she's sittin at my feet, I'll lower the plate to her until she meows and then pull it away. Then I'll lower it again so she meows and pull it away.

I'm mean, I know
