I currently have 4, 2.5 week old kittens. I have had them for about 4 days now. During that 4 days only 2 of them took 1 bowel movement and that was 2 days ago. Should I be concerned about this? I am feeding KMR. They are all acting normal and growing just fine. I am stimulating them, but they are also using a litter box.

wow using the litter box so soon? well done. i would ring a vet and ask them about the bowl movement, sometimes with bottle fed babys they can get a bit constapaited and sometimes need something to help them go.
try rubbing gently on there bellys like a little massage it might help lossing them up a bit.i hope someone with more advice will be along shortly for you.

Bottle formula can make a baby constipated. I would try adding a teaspoon of Kayro syrup to the mix. I do this when I have to bottle feed newborn puppies because of the forumula makes puppies sometimes constipated. I hear the same thing goes on with kittens. Wow how did you manage to litter train them so young? My babies are 2 weeks and 2 days old and no where near being ready for that!

thats the one kayro syrup , i can never seem to remember what that is called
. as for not many replies sometimes if we look on a post and dont have advice to give its best to leave it and not take over the board with maybies. so we wait for others who have had more experince in this situation , but not everyone comes on here on a daily basies. and remember if you every worried its always best to get advice from your vet as we can not see the kitten so can only advise you on what to do. so please if your worried dont wait for replies just phone a vet you will get a quicker response.
hope there doing better today.

Hope everything is ok with your little babies. Did you manage to get some advice from the vet?
