Chevy has been rolling around in the bathtub after Scott and I take our showers. He gets himself pretty wet, shakes it off like a dog and then washes himself. He will do this as many times as he can, and likes to do it as we're getting dressed.

He also likes to stick his paws in the water while I take a bath and stand along the edge. I've tried giving him baths before and he handles those as well as most cats....what's his deal?

lol. Maybe he just needs a little more moist tongue? Puff likes to play with his water....and that's about as close as he likes to get. Besides laying in the bathtub while it's dry.

Kojak, Abilene (now my mom's kitty), and Jasmine all do that
They're weirdos! Isabella and Velvet have nothing to do with the water though

My cats, Tunes and Misty, lick the tub dry! They also like to drink out of the faucet. Tunes licks the tub while Misty licks the top of Tunes' head where the water is running off of it!

Where whiskers abound.
Me thinks they want to bathe too!!

My Mittens will get jealous when I give Cassy a bath and vice versa. Then the dog wants one too when both cats are clean.

I thought he just wanted a bath too! Apparently, he likes baths about as much as any other cat. Summer gets terrified and then hides. Chevy just doesn't like it when he's in it!

He's a weirdo and will lay/ stand by the bathroom door while any kind of water is running, just waiting for it to stop. I've seen cats that love a running faucet and stuff, but I'm glad Chevy isn't THAT bizzare!!
They sure each have their own personalities don't they?

He also plays fetch, and never even had to be taught! I've never seen this either! He's just too smart for his own good.

My cat sassy likes to play in water as well. His favorite thing is rolling on my bath sponge when it is damp. It may be great for him but it makes a total mess of the sponge with soggy cat hair. Linus on the other hand does not want anything to do with water and if he accidently gets any part of him wet is not a happy kitty.

In Steelers Country!
Our Gracie loves to play in the shower.
She'll actually sit on the edge of the tub while someone is in the shower.
We make sure to close the door BEFORE someone gets in the bathtub...I have a feeling she'd just jump right in.

Lizzie likes to lick the water out of the tub, Annabelle has no interest in tub or shower.

Last weekend I had to give Elliott a bath ( long story ) and I thought he was going to claw my eyes out
...so needless to say he's not a big fan of water!

Blue races for the tub whenever we are done
but none of them go near it too much whenever some one is in it! But whenever Bella is up she will often go to the tub! And Tessa sits in their with someone whenever they get a bath/shower! Stormie just likes to lay in the bathroom, and she will go in it to drink the extra water sometimes but like I said its Blue who runs into that tub when she hears the water turn off
So ur kittie sounds pretty normal, he wants a bath but on his own terms

Persi always used to come and play on the edge of the tub when I was in it. That is until the day he fell in. That is the closest to a bath he has ever had.

Merlin is fond of the bath tub, but he'll be in it anytime and you often have to kick him out to grab a shower/bath! Then he looks all offended....how dare I disturb his rest!

Yep MOST of my cats does that. FOUR of my cats LOVES bathwater!

Every morning as I fill the tub up with water, Pepper starts getting all excited and will keep meowing like crazy until I get into the water. They will REFUSE to get up there until I get in.. Don't ask me why.

As soon as I get in, Pepper, Tango and Spike will ALWAYS get up and start drinking water (I have learned not to use soap/shampoo until they're done!
). Tango also would swipe his paw through the water until half of his arm is WET then he'd sit there grooming his paw. He also likes to swipe his paw through my hair in water then try to scoop my hair up so he could groom the hair...

After they drink their fill, then Buddy will jump up and stare at me
and his tail will ALWAYS dip into water until half of his tail is wet then he'd jump off and groom his tail then get back on the edge and start the whole thing again until I get out of the tub!

It can get a bit CROWDED with 3-4 cats all perched at the edge of the tub.

All cats have fallen into the tub before (sometimes with a bit of help from me *wicked laughter*) and they would freak out scrambling to get out then groom themselves dry and they STILL COME BACK FOR MORE!!
IDIOTS.

After the tub is empty of water, Buddy always jump in and bat at the faucet which means I need to turn the water on enough so it'd drip so he can drink and play with it.

Who's the master in this home? NOT ME!

Maia loves to play in the tub! She has shredded the shower curtain, so I have to be sure to keep shower curtain outside of the tub and pushed open! There is ths one place that she somehow managed to put to holes perfectly for her to stand outside the tub and watch me shower! She looks like a burglar
! It is to funny, I really want to get a picture of it, but if the shower isn't on, she jumps right in the tub!
