Since the holiday is getting closer, I was wondering what everyone wanted for Christmas, if you don't celebrate said holiday, pick an event where you would receive a gift, and tell us what you would want. It can be big or small, cheap or expensive, whatever.

And yes, most everyone wants the altruistic stuff, like peace and health and harmony and whatnot. I want everyone to be totally selfish and pick something, well, buyable
. So what do you want?

I've asked for a combo DVD-VHS player, with the Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings discs. Oh, and a new cat dancer for Ivo.

I'd really like a Dualit cappucino/espresso maker. It'll match my toaster and give me my coffee fix in a variety of formats.

Great idea for a thread by the way!

I think the biggest item I want is a treadmill with adjustable slope, but that is too expensive, so it will wait.

The smaller things are cds, and movies. I can probablt list a bunch of them

I have asked my parents for a food processor and a stainless steel mixing bowl set, as I love to cook. If I can somehow get the money, I'm getting Mike a milk steamer.

Movin' on up!
I want a jewelry armoire. Right now, all of my jewelry is scattered through various containers and on my dresser.

I got Bill a pair of slippers, a die-cast F4-U Corsair, die-cast Rusty Wallace car and I'm buying him a toolbox, for the truck. His box, from the old truck, doesn't fit the new one. I'm, also, getting him a new holster, for his pistol.

Ike will get doggy treats and the cats get the boxes and wrapping paper.

Hmm...
the thing I want most is a new set of paintbrushes, and maybe a new comforter for my bed (I wanted a Scooby Doo one, but they said I was too old.
Boo. I think Grandma might get it for me, anyway.)

I wanted one of those Dancing Elmos, but they said I was too old for that too, lmao. I want to be little again.

IA. If you need me, just meow..
I just want one day that my shop doesn't call me for stupid things or that I have to go in and fix something on the computer. I am getting really burned out... no real days off since Oct 2nd. I have lots of scheduled days off, but taking them is a different matter. I just want an actual day off that noone bothers me..

Here is the list I gave Mike (LOL!)

To be able to stay at home with Jedi!
Digicam
LOTR DVD
Collectors Edition of "The Hobbit"
First season of "24" on DVD (woohoo Kiefer...some people say Mike looks like him...yummy!) This he can split between Christmas and birthday...hehehe
Clinique "Happy" cologne (my fave right now)
Bath & Body Works shower gels/body lotions

And last but not least...OUT OF THIS APARTMENT!!!!!

He gets to pick whatever off of the list (he doesn't HAVE to buy them all!)...but at least this way he knows what to get...but I am still a little surprised as to exactly WHAT he got me! And he usually throws in a "surprise" too...but he does a good job!!!

I want a digital camera, Play Station II ( although i know I'd never get to play it because my roommates would hog it), contact lenses and an eye exam,a new big screen TV (I can dream can't I), any thing that has to do with McCoy pottery, a gift certificate for a massage, lots of clothes for work, a Litter Maid litterbox, anything antique. I think that covers it. Oh yeah I forgot....lose 30 pounds!

Your never too old for Scooby Doo are you????
And Elmo is WAY cute!!! Don't feel bad...when I was 18.....many many moons ago....I wanted a Care Bear for my 18th birthday. (they had just come out with them) my mom said I was too old...but I insisted. I got it.
And now....many moons later....they are back on the market, and my friend bought one for Amber!
You should have what you want, regardless of your age!!!

Carla!!! You know, now that you mention it....the pics you have shown us of Mike....he DOES look a little bit like Kiefer!!!!!! I have always like Kiefer!!!! Maybe because he is my age, still very sexy, and even my step-daughter who is 17 thinks so!!! (just goes to show....some things do get better with age!
)

And also Carla......OMG!!!!!! HAPPY!!!!!!! I wear it all the time!!! What kind of a coincidence is that????
You are the only other person I know who loves it as much as I do! I get so many compliments when I wear it!!!!!

Okay....my Christmas wish list.....

If we can't wish for world peace, or a cure for cancer or anything like that....my list would be...

Stay home with Amber (about as feasable as world peace) (in other words....NOT a chance in heck of it ever happening, as much as I wish it would)

So my more realistic list would be....

Digital camera (that's what I'm asking hubby for!)

Boyd's Bears.....lots and lots of them!!!!

That's all I can think of right now!
