I have 2 cats in my apartment. I need to give one of them his 2nd dose of the medicine. How long do I need to keep the 2 cats seperated? Just until it's dry? or a while after?

I would guess till its dry - I don't use it. The dog gets BioSpot and the cats are totally indoors and have never had fleas or ticks from the dog.

Why are you putting Frontline on anyway? You live in an apartment - assuming that your cats don't go outside. IMO I would not use "poison" on cats if its not necessary.

I am using Frontline because the 1 cat had ticks and had ear mites.

If the other cat tries to lick it, they will get a very nasty taste and may froth at the mouth a little - There is nothing to be worried about though, this is normal and is just to stop other cats from licking it off!

So go ahead and apply to the cat that needs doing!

If he had ticks and they are all gone and he doesn't go outside any more, then you don't need the Frontline. Ear mites are treated separately.
