Hunters have killed one of the last remaining Amur Leopards.

I saw that, it's terrible! I hope they can somehow keep the species alive!

That is horrible especially the way it was done! I hope they catch that bastar** and kick his a**!

that is just terrible news, people like that make me really sick. i just dont know what goes through there minds when they do things like this?

I will never, never understand how any thinking person can pick up a gun and go out to shoot an innocent animal. And call it sport, yet!

I'm sure there are people on TCS who hunt, and I hate to offend anyone... but that's how I feel.

I feel the exact same way. What's so exciting about killing an innocent animal? Does shooting a gun make them feel more like a man?

So sad. I wonder what percentage of animals we have left on this planet that were here a couple thousand years ago. Except in rare cases the vast majority would still be here not for mankind.

I wish someone would hunt hunters to extinction! I certainly wouldn't shed any tears over them like I am the leopard.

God this angers me to no end!! This is why captive breeding is so very important!! What makes this worse, is that it was a female that was killed. Another wonderful cat species is going to be eliminated from the face of the earth because of stupid people.

I wish someone would have hit that hunter over the head with something and cracked his skull open! I think many hunters of today are not real hunters, just cowards that lack intellect and skill. I think the true hunters were the indians and all others before them.
It just makes me mad to have to read this! He thinks he is some macho man, when in reality he is a complete coward and idiot. I hope he gets whats coming to him and fast.
I have never even heard of the amur leopard and am saddened to come across it this way.

Maybe the remaining ones would be better being taken into a protected
nature reserve for their own protection.
Sadly though I think they are already destined for extinction because I don't think
there are enough left to satisfy a viable gene pool. Though I hope I'm wrong.

I agree with you and AmberTheBobCat! This all just angers me so much ! I hope they can find some way to preserve this breed!
