Okay so I must have been all wrong about Mary-Jane's pregnancy progress! She is still pregnant! Three weeks ago I decided she was probably at least 7 or 8 weeks pregnant, but here she is, rounder than ever.

I started feeling her babies move a little over 2 weeks ago. I read that this usually happens around 7 weeks of pregnancy.

Mary-Jane has four pairs of nipples. The top two, and bottom are very dark and protruding and filled with milk. The two in the middle are still just pink bald, but they are not filled up or anything.

Mary-Jane is still eating like crazy. She can longer lay down properly but has to prop up her back legs against the wall and lay on her back in order to relax. It's really silly.

Anyhow, here's what she looks like now...

In the second picture you can tell she has become less blob like but more pear shaped. I hope that means the kittens are on their way because I really am fed-up with waiting!

Wishing I were anywhere but here
I don't remember how many weeks it took when we had kittens, but I remember one time Precious had kittens, we thought they were all out, and low and behold, 2 days later out comes another one!
Not only that....it was the biggest one!

Interesting observation on the nipples/milk. My queens rarely had much milk in the top nipples - most milk was in the bottom 4 - the middle will come with the kittens nursing

this is how my pregnant queens have been in the past. her top 2 were normally dried up after about 2-3 weeks once the kittens were here and never had very much in the first place.
