Charlie is one weird kitty! He likes drinking some of our hot tea (cooled down) - we have different kinds, English tea, Chai, Mint, Vanilla Caramel....

Well he loves the vanilla caramel tea - dips his paw in it or wants some in his bowl. Also loves our V8 -Splash Smoothies (fruit juice) - Pina Colada or Strawberry Banana.

Just last night I left a bowl of cole slaw on the kitchen table, a place where Persi feels he has the right to be. I found him licking all of the liquid from the cole slaw!

Before i got Maisie, her breeder had a dinner party with some friends, and left the dishes out on the side afterwards!! Maisie ate half abowl of cicken curry and then was found with all four paws in and eating a lemon meringue pie!!! She has a cast iron stomach - wasn't even sick!!

Aside from the two of them trying to sneak drinks from the toilet
we really don't leave anything around they could drink.

Radar once sniffed my cup of tea. It was boiling hot, the steam got in his face, and it resulted in a vet visit and antibiotic cream for his eyes. I tried to stop him but he was too quick

Nikita doesn't drink tea but she goes wild over peppermint used teabags they seem to work like catnip on her. She want to get them and lick them and rub herself on them it's really weird.

Adding my bit to the peppermint thing - I got these soft peppermint balls, kinda like the hard mint kind. I keep them in a mug beside my bed (quick remedy to morning breath!). Anytime I let Pounce into my room, I end up with wrapped peppermint balls all over the room! He doesn't eat them, but he'll run over, gently pick one up in his mouth, jump off the bed, drop it and start batting it around the floor. I'm guessing it's related to the catnip thing

Two cats that I had previously (Data and Yang - who my uncle cat sitted for a few months, and now refuses to give back
) would drink anything alcoholic. Now, keep it mind, we definately didn't try to -give- them alcohol, and would remove the glass when we saw them drinking from it, but if you left a glass of beer, wine, or a mixed drink on the table - when you turned back around, there was at least one of them, lapping at it if their lives depended on it. Alcoholic kitties!

(as a side note, none of my current cats will drink out of a glass with spirits, but when Mama Fetch hears you open a bottle of beer, she comes running and will not stop mewing at you until you throw it, let her chase after it and bring it back, drop it in front of your feet, start mewing... repeat
)

Not sure as far as liquids go, since my cats drink nothing but water and the occasional lactose free kitty milk as a treat.

Tyran adores her Tapioca pudding though.

Princess got a taste of cold tea today..

My glass was sitting on the coffee table and I usually let her sniff as long as she doesn't drink or touch because I don't mind her curiousity. Well, she was brave this time and stuck her nose in it before I could stop her, but the little splash from the tea scared her and she took off running.

Fred loved to drink White Russians. You couldn't set one down, and if he could get to it, he would climb up in your lap and drink it out of your glass while you were holding it. He drank about 1/4 of one once and ended up with a bad hangover the next day. Poor baby! He was so pitiful. I never left one unattended again.

They are always trying to get into my peppermint tea, which I guess is not that surprising since they love the catnip. The odd thing was Stanley trying to get into my Mai Tai on Sunday...I thought they didn't like citrus. I gave him a sniff thinking he was just being curious and he tried to go in for a taste!
