Hello everyone, my name is Aaron, and I am getting a cat in a couple weeks. His name is Smokey, and he's a young cat about 1.5-2 years old. His elderly owner passed away recently and the family was considering turning him into a barn cat or taking him to a pound. Since I was thinking about getting a cat anyway, I volunteered to let him live with me instead.
He's a solid grey cat and he's obviously going to be a big boy when he reaches his full size. I dont have pics yet, and I'll probably be asking for help soon because he's a very shy and skitterish cat right now. He's grown up with other cats and kids coming in and out of his old home all the time bouncing everywhere which apparently he didnt care for. I figured I can be patient, give him his space, and he'll maybe come out of his shell to be more social again in a quiet 1-cat home where its just us two guys.
