I slept in past "feeding time" and could NOT hear the end of it. On and on she went! Ugh, I couldn't get any peace

The other day my alarm clock didn't go off, but guess who did when they weren't "fed" on time! lol.

Oh dear.

My kitty woke me up at 6:30 this morning for food. He never does that. Then he continued meowing and acting spazzy. I think it's spring fever.

I tried to sleep in, but I was awakened at 6:30 by an eyebrow licking, purring machine

You would not happen to have a Siames, would you? I keep hearing how vocal these are.

one of my mom's cats actually figured out how to turn on the alarm clock and open their bedroom door to get in. my step dad use to get up at 5:30 but he became disabled, so therefor didnt have to get up that early for work. he would constantly wake them up by 6 to get fed, by licking them, crying, and eventually turning on the alarm clock... honestly. so they decided to put him out of the room at night so they could sleep and he learned how to open up the door somehow. They always have dry food out, but he loves his canned cat food oh so much.

Chester not only howls when it's time to get fed, but also if I have my door shut to my bedroom or if the alarm goes off after a nap.
To get fed in the morning he meows, purrs, licks my face (somtimes my eyelids, man I hate that!), eats my hair, bites my feet/legs if they're hanging out, jumps on me and the newest one is jumping up on my dresser and methodically knocking stuff off because he knows it drives me nuts.
This morning I closed the door because I had half an hour before my alarm and he actually managed to knock the door open after about 20 mins. I have no idea how he did it! All I heard was "thump thump thump" and there was a cat licking my face, purring and meowing frantically.
I'd so love just one morning off of wetfood duty.

Sleeping in past feeding time is not allowed in the cats' world you know, shame on you

Sonic the oriental kitten does not wait until morning. He likes to prowl around the bedroom at night while we are sleeping and we are occasionally woken by his 'reeeeeooooow?' I do think that he realises we are sleeping and tries to be quiet, as it is not as loud or frequent as his daytime yowls, it's just that he can't help himself and sometimes starts talking to himself at night
