Hello everybody
I am not new, but I haven't been on this site for 3+ years now. Some ppl might remember from before when my Mentos got sick and passed away. I finally decided to get another cat. I saw a Russian Blue at a cat show several years ago, and always wanted one. His name is Pillow, and is almost 3 months old.
I have 2 general questions
1) I never had any allergic reactions to my previous cat. However with Pillow, I have small reactions where I get slightly stuffy nose (can still breath), and my chest tightens a little bit. Nothing I can't live with. Was just curious, will this go away? Because I've heard owners who have grown tolerant to their cat's allergens. If not, what can I do? I can't keep him off my bed, and I live in a studio where I can't have him anywhere else. I already bought a Honeywell HEPA Filter, and I wipe everything down.
2) This cat loves company, he is always following me around, and wanting to play with me. Because I live in a studio, I can't sleep, he is always stepping on my face, running around. I have had 3 sleepless nights thus far.... I tried playing with him an hour before sleeping to tire him out... but he has a lot of stamina apparently.
Lastly, I'd like to thank everybody here for helping me out. I'll post Pillow pics soon. He is a real sweetie.
