First time owner with my new best friend Greta. I adopted her from from the local shelter a little over a month ago and have enjoyed having her ever since. She is a Russian Blue about a year and a half old. That was the best guess the shelter could make as to her age.
My only regret is not adopting a cat sooner but then again if I had I would not have found Greta so it all worked out in the end for both of us. I know she was happy to leave the shelter after 6 months when she jumped right into the carrier when it was time to leave. We have hit it off great and there is definitely a strong bond between us now.
