My laptop died!

I just bought it back in December and it's dead I took it to a couple repair shops and was told it's gonna be over $300 to fix!
So I had to drag my desktop out of the closet. It's currently sitting on my coffee table Thank god for wireless keyboards

I think I'm just gonna upgrade this one and use the other as a paper weight

Did they give you an idea what is wrong with it?? Then again, I'm the type of person to just take it apart myself and fiddle with it until it worked again. lol

I hate to say... I told you so! I will NEVER buy another laptop... mine that I paid about $2,000 for a few years ago is now sitting in the closet because it died and its gonna cost a small fortune to fix!
I've had my desktop for over a year now and no problems!

Well, the good news is I got in touch with a fellow contractor who does computers on the side. He said that he can get the part for $40 and will only charge me $25 to fix it!
I send alot of work his way when it's something we can't or won't do so it's working out....

Yea! Isn't it nice to have friends who know this stuff? Mine's back today, the the DH is uploading my programs as I type (on his laptop! ).
