My first Persian

I was wondering if anyone can give me any tricks of the trade on keeping their eyes clean? Any products work better than others? His eyes seem to water and then leaves a brownish stain under his eyes? I have been looking at a product called Eye Envy? Anyone familiar with it?

Persians will almost always have weepy eyes. Your best bet is to wipe them daily with plain water. Make sure to clean the nose folds as these can get infected if not kept clean.
Persians also tend to sneeze and have runny noses from time to time due to tiny cramped sinus cavities.
Good luck with your new kitty!

Just wanted to add, try to stay away from using cotton wool or cotton woold buds (Q tips in the US I think??) as they can leave bits of fibre behind and irritate the eyes even more

That's right! I bought the inexpencise wash cloths that come in packs of a dozen and use those to wash their little faces!
