Even though I'm in the US, I am soooo glad I exchanged my 2 unopened bags of Royal Canin yesterday. The company wasn't answering my e-mails about where they get their ingredients from & the testing they're doing, and I was getting nervous about starting the new bags (wheat gluten & corn gluten in it). People can say what they want about Eukanuba, which is what I exchanged it for, but at least there are no glutens or rice protein concentrate in it and it has a lot of animal protein in it. Their by-products (I e-mailed them last year) also seem high quality so I'm not worried about that.

RC in the US is ok - its not being recalled as far as I know. There was a problem in Australia with some of the RC Queen, but not here.

I know Royal Canin here is OK........so far, but if a company can't even answer a few simple questions I was asking especially with all this crap happening, I'll do business somewhere else. Just my 2 cents.

I just received an e-mail Corn Gluten warning from Itchmo...
Their main point is ....
"At this point, we believe that all corn gluten should be considered at risk for contamination and should be tested by every pet food manufacturer and the FDA."

Here is their page.

This is a nightmare....
Pet and Human food is not safe.
That is the bottom line.
