I HATE IGNORANT PEOPLE...sorry kinda long

Sorry just another rant!! This time its about a *friend* of mine.
Her moms neighbor had some kittys (born outside) and decided it was time to give them away, well fine but they cant be even barely 4 weeks old!!
And she wants to just put it outdoors!!
I begged and pleaded with her to let the mama cat continue nursing it, or to let me have him....of course her idiotic response was "No so and so(her 6 y/o daughter) will be upset if I dont bring him back home with me"
Like the daughter gives two s***s!! Im sorry. This is just really making me angry. This is the same girl who has a dog tied up outside, not spayed no shots............UGGHH!!

I try and try to be nice and tell her that the kitty CANT be left outdoors, for one her dumb dog will probly kill it!! Her mom also took one, which may not be so bad, but for gods sake they should still be with their mommy!!
They were also just giving her regular milk to drink. I was like noooooooooo~stop! Your going to give her the runs. So she borrowed some kitten food from me and I expressed to her it has to be wet down.
So we shall see what happens.....

God stupid people really shouldnt breed!!

I agree with you on that. Nor should they ever have children of their own or pets of any kind. It's sad what the world has come down to at times...and sometimes there is nothing you can do but hope for the best in the end. I can understand why you are upset. I would be also. Keep us updated on what happens.

I am very upset. I thought about seeing if the kittys outside in the day time and stealing it


Just makes me sick to my stomach, because shes a friend of mine and she just wont listen to me!!
I also gave her a cat carrier so it could have a place to sleep.....as far as I know thats where hes at tonite. I just dont know why they would take them away so young??

I got Persi when he was just 7 weeks old. I was not a member of The Cat Site yet and I bought this pedigreed cat from a supposedly reputable cattery. Persi actually does have champion parents on both sides because I paid CFA the extra money to receive his family tree. So, why were Persi and his siblings sold at age 7 weeks? A few days later I found that I had got Persi way too young. I was like
over the matter and called the breeder and let her know what I thought of her. She told me that my ignorance was no fault of hers!! Yes, I did write the CFA and reported what had happened. I later also learned right here on The Cat Site how to pick a reputable breeder. Fortunately, Persi has turned out to be a great cat with no problems associated with getting him so young. I guess I was one of the lucky ones.

I hate ppl like that that u cant reason with at all, i have some neighbors up the street that they refuse to get spayed because they believe thats part of their life they were born that way, and it gets worse they let the kitties outside and they are always getting pregnant
At least u tried ur hardest in reasoning, and hey if they kitties really go missing do u think they would notice

Maybe this is a bit harsh of me... ignorance is one thing, it can be corrected.
Stupidity on the other hand, well I honestly believe there's no helping someone who is outright stupid.
I believe the woman you were dealing with was stupid. The only thing you can do in situations like that is just avoid the people, you cannot reason with someone who does not even possess basic common sense.
I know it's hard to give up a fight but sometimes you have to choose them.
