Well, since my 3 were on Natural Balance Venison and Green Pea until yesterday, so I bought Innova EVO..
Anyone else feed theirs InnovaEVO? Since I do not know what my youngest is allergic too and hear most are allergic to grains is why I bought Innova EVO that does not contain grains and they seem to like it!

When I called the vet yesterday they said DO NOT feed NB and go something natural.. She said they can order IVF but wont get it until next week! I said forget it!
I'm hoping I made a good choice in the food

I bought the dry and wet..

I'm using Timberwolf Organic Serengeti for a grain free food.

I also have some Orijen here, but at this moment the Orijen does not have the AAFCO stamp of approval. (Not that it seems to matter for safety lately!)

Since I have one cat in the house with struvite crystal problems I decided I will stick with the Serengeti because it does have DL-Methionine in it which is the ingredient added in food to help maintain urinary tract health and lower urinary pH. I did not find that ingredient in Orijen.

I questioned my vet to be sure that is the ingredient I should be looking for and she confirmed that it is.

THank you I knew I forgot one ... I would look the other way of the seal as Orijen is a Canadian food

I agree that the seal does not mean it isn't healthy. I think them not having the seal is what is slowing down the availability in the U.S. though. When I inquired at Pet Food Direct, they said...
"We are very interested in this line but will need to wait until they are able to be compliant with the US labeling restrictions governing pet food."

Does anyone remember the time when we could just sleepily grab some food and put it down for the fur kids without having to fret about whether we were doing the right thing for them?

Orijen can not be sold with the seal because it is not a US company and isn't widely sold in the US but I would imagine that if they were looking at increasing sales in the US that they would get one.

It is sold in the premium petfood stores around here and they all highly recommend it
