Why do they not keep things updated...

Ok I need to vent this. I have been searching for the right food for Ping and I don't wanna have to do the online thing because prices is always higher and shipping is a killer. So I started checking direct from the manufacture to find a local dealer. First I thought I would check the Chicken Soup website they show 4 people that sell in within 30 minutes of where I live. 3 of the people do not carry this food and have not in a long long time. 1 of them they changed their number and I can not locate a new number. I called one 45 minutes away but they recently discountinued this food at their store. BUT they do carry wellness, eagle pack, TimberWolf Organics (I was thinking of going to that) plus many more holistic brands. So I plan to make a trip there this payday to get some food to try.

But man it was frustrating to call all those places just to find out they have not carried things in a long time and the website was never updated.

I have the same problem here. There are several brands that list 3 or 4 stores here, but none of them carry the brands that are listed. Its very irritating.

Very irritating. But I am glad I called each and every one of them before I got in the car to leave or I would have been highly ticked. They did carry one brand of food I have never heard of Orijan (or is it Orijen) anyone know what I am talking about. Is it any good?

I think there are some posts about it in the Health & Nutrition forum. I think its supposed to be good, but do a search on it to be sure. I'm starting to think I will end up ordering food online which sucks because of shipping costs but it seems like every place around here carries the same 2 or 3 brands even though they are listed on the websites to have all the different ones.

Then you have the opposite situation with the Solid Gold store locator. It lists TWO stores in my area w/SG. Well, turns out there are at least FIFTEEN...but NONE (yes I'm shouting!!!) of them carry the SG canned food. Ok, that was my rant. I feel better now.

It is annoying! a retailer list is only good if it's up to date.
