to the blind kitty at the vets office

lookingglass's post about her vet trip made me remember something been bugging me for a week now.

Cause when i was in the vet with eazy a couple rushed in with a big orange and white cat wrapped up in blanket. The women was really upset, so i started talking to her. The cat she called kitty was 6 years old and had been born blind, but she said it never slowed him down at all, she told me several stories about him. she said he had gotten sick the day before and just wanted to sleep. But come morning he was worse and they had rushed into the vets.

about 30 min later the Man came out with kitty wrapped up in the blanket,
he looked at her and said, that vet said even if they had taken him yesterday there was nothing they could do for him. both the man and women where crying. as they carried kitty out.

i dont know who they where but it was very easy to see how much they loved him.

rest in peace kitty. i am very sure your family is missing you.

Oh that is so sad, it always makes me cry when I hear of someone that loves their animal so much, and it is so hard to hafta make a decision that it gonna break their hearts.

God, that's like a nightmare come true. Many times, I wondered if taking my blind Damita to the vet would be her last trip.
