I am completely shocked at how much Addie just ate at one sitting!
She was just up there for at least 3 times as long as she normally feeds! I'd say she ate about 1/8 of a cup of kibble or maybe more! That might not sound like much, but she usually eats only a few kibbles at a sitting. This is the second day that Addie has gotten a pill for an appetite stimulant, and she's not even had a full dose yet (bf forgot her morning pill, so she only got one today....yesterday, she got one after we saw the vet). I really hope this is just a prelude to a new insatiable Addie.
AND she was the first one to come up for food. When I went to the cupboard, she was around my feet. As soon as I took the container out, she ran off and jumped up to the food bowls! She's usually not that interested.
I don't want to get my hopes up too high, but I'm so glad to see her sit and eat for longer than 30secs to 1minute at a time! Even if she doesn't eat much tomorrow, I'll still be glad she ate so well (comparably) tonight.
