I just talked to Tammy on the phone a minute ago from the hospital when she called me. She wanted me to update everyone on her son, Seth's current situation. Tomorrow at 11am he will be having surgery for plural infusion (sp?). Tomorrow the doctors will go in and make an incision in the front, side and back of his right lung to scrape it- he has absesses on his right lung in between his right lung and his rib cage. The absesses are causing his lung to collaspe so that's why they're doing surgery. (right now it is only his right lung giving his trouble- let's all pray that his left lung stays healthy and strong!) His temperature went up to 104 today. His doctors are using the strongest iv therapy/antiobiotic they can to get rid of the infection and reduce his fever. He will be going into pedicactric intensive care following the surgery. Tammy appreciates all thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Please continute to pray for them all. She will try to update as soon as she can. The easiest way to leave her a message would be to leave her a pm on TCS. She said her inbox is full right now- so she will try and empty/respond to the messages when she's able to so ya'll can send them. She's asking for prayers and vibes for Seth to have a smooth surgery and great recovery. He is in a lot of pain right now and is very scared. Please pray for Tammy and their family as well as they are trying to stay strong for their son. I will update whenever she is able to call me back. She will not be able to use her cell phone tomorrow when Seth is moved into the pediactric intensive care ward so i'm not sure when i'll hear back from her. As soon as i hear anything i'll update. She has a lap top at the hospital they were letting her use but right now they are updating info at the hospital from what i understood and she is not able to use it. Please pray for little Seth, the poor little fella is feeling pretty miserable.
