8-Bit is fine.
I was curled up on the couch just about to enjoy some Oprah and I see 8-Bit round the corner, limping. I rush over to see if something is stuck in his paw and all I can see is a red swollen pad. I throw him in the carrier and we are off. He decides to yell at me the whole way there letting everyone around us know that he is being abducted from his nice cushy apartment and that his paw really hurts.
We don't get our regular vet. The new one walks in and says, "Oh, hi angel!" At that moment 8-Bit launches himself off the exam table lands in the sink and growls.
She takes him back for some X-Rays. He lets the ENTIRE building know that he wants his Meowmy. There isn't a foreign object in his paw, so she sends me home with some anti-biotics and gives him an anti-inflammatory shot.
We come home, and I call for an elevator. Just as I press the button a small crowd of people behind me are staring at the hissing, growling box that I am carrying. An loud sigh is let out among them as I press the 12th floor. They are in for a long ride with a kitty who wants to let everyone know he's not pleased with his current circumstances.
He is now curled around my head purring loudly.
All is well.
