What is the better lower prcied premium dry cat food?

Max cat, Authority, Chicken soup? Mine are on Nutro natural indoor formula now. I'm just wondering if one of these lower priced foods are even better then that.

Chicken soup and Max are about = IMHO

Max has one meat to one grain ratio but only one hairball has no wheat ... it has similiar coat and skin care to NC( 19.99 for a 20 lb on sale, 26-30 off sale )... some formulas are 1 grain to 1.3 meats

Chicken soup has a 1.75 grain to meat ( I do include grain likes
) .. lower skin and coat care but in a feed store can be up to 10 $ a bag less ( 17-30 for a 18lb bag)

Authority the least expensive of the three 20lb for 18 $ ( last I checked) .. but it also can have some ???ables like cellulose and more than one kind of corn

NONE are quite up to NC but they can work if $$$ is tight

Thanks Sharky...

I'm paying $30 for a 20 pound bag of Nutro Natural indoor formula....the max is $20.00 for a 20 pound bag.

So I would save $10.00 switching them to max cat...

Sharky,

I am going to keep them on Nutro Natural. They are doing real well on it...and look really healthy and if it is better I'll stick with it.

I'm pretty sure I've read that the indoor nutro natural isn't your favorite out of the nutro natural choice line...Would they be better off on just the regular Nutro Natural? They are 1 year old males.

Thank you.

yes I like the NC over the indoor nc cause the indoor has soy protein which if your s arent allergic is okay it is just a allergen common in cats... the soy protein is for bone health so there is a reason
... I personally would feed kitten for the protein and fat for a few more months.. but that Is IMHO only

the NC oceanfish went over well here
