Hi,

Just a quickie - Pixies kittens were 2 weeks old yesterday and I have noticed that they are sneezing quite a bit. I wouldn't say constantly or anything but if I'm with them and watching them (they're currently upstairs) for say half an hour they'll each roughly sneeze 2 or 3 times - is this normal or something I should be worried about? They are in a warm room so I cant see that they have caught a cold. Pixie is perfectly fine, not sneezing or anything and other than this the kittens seem very healthy - have trippled their birth rate and are very alert, eyes open and starting to walk (shakily) on their legs!

Anyway heres a few more pics as I know you all like to see them!

how lovely they are. the sneezing i wouldnt worry to much about , keep an eye on them and see how they go . annes kittens would sneeze a few times daily. i think because they depend mostly on there nose dust particals get up there which tends to make them sneeze.

very cute! well, the weight sounds good, but the sneezing would have me worried about a URI.
I'm sure someone will come along soon to offer their opinion!

They are beautiful.....

That pic of the 2 that look like they are hugging ( little ginger one and the dark one) is just priceless.

You have some lovely babies there

All you have to do is mention kitten pictures to get someone to open a thread!
They are precious!

I wouldn't worry too much unless they start sneezing a lot more, or if you notice their eyes or nose running. Then I would definitely get them to the vet to check for a URI.

OHHH My - I want that little red classic tabby boy! A little sneezing probably its a bad thing. They are moving around more, putting their little noses in this and that, and that could account for the sneezing.

As long as its not really runny, mucusy, greenish, or eyes are infected its probably ok. If it doesn't clear up in a day or 2 you might want to contact the vet - they should be getting their 1st shots in about a month (6 weeks old).

~Hmm first thought that popped into my head is "Maybe they are allergic to cats?" lolol~

~Simply adorable. I wish my babies were up moving about with their eyes open. They still doing the crawling thing and going every which way because they cant see. Such sweet pictures. I love when they snuggle together~
