One of my cats, China, doesn't 'associate' herself much with the other cats, and if they get too close they get a good right hook across the face!
Her history is this: I rescued her from some people who no longer wanted her - she was 9 weeks old and they had had her for 5 weeks - which means she was taken from her mother at 4 weeks of age. Could this be the reason she seems unable to communicate very well with other cats? She is totally adorable but much more human oriented than cat, and is very very talkative towards people!
