She is home

Just wanted to let everyone know that Maggie is home. OMgoodness I am in love- she is a lovable purring chattering Kitty. I had no idea how different her personality and body build would be from a regular Cat. She is perfect. here are pics. I also wanted to let you know that the night we got home my other kitty Azella gave birth so here are pics of the little furrballs to.

I Love her coat her muscel mass is amazing, My husband at first thought i was crazy for spending money on a cat. not just that but traveling to go get just a cat.Hahaha As soon as he saw the Bengals at Nial and Teri's house he was in aww..I'm very serious about the Awww. He's in love. See he's a dog person,Now he's a Bengal Person. He's in love with her. He has told everyone he knows about Maggie and the Bengal Breed. He now wants to get one more. He is in the garage now building the cats a condo.LOL Seriously!. He also has pulled up websites to learn about them.showing,Genetics,coloring Ect..I told him theres a difference in a moggy and a Bengal. She's always talking and she's very athletic(Jumping over our dogs).

My husband was the exact same way! Now he refers to them as his boys.

I know exactly what you mean with the muscle mass. My Nikita (just like most bengals) is very muscled and it keeps surprising people that come and visit when they pick her up. She's basically a solid (but very sleek and shiny) brick. I even got told off by the vet when they weighed her a few months after her spay saying that she was too heavy for her size. It's just muscle mass. She's not fat at all (nice belly tuck, can easily feel her ribs and hip bones and goes in at the hips when seen from above).

Actually because Nikita is my only cat and I don't really see other cats, so for me now the bengal build and energy is the norm.

Anyway congratulations on Maggie, she looks gorgeous and I can't wait to hear more about how it goes for you living with her.
