Hello Everyone!!

I was just wondering what the age gaps are between yourselves and your partners. In my relationship there is a 15 year age gap, myself being younger. I know that to some peopple it may seem odd but in my relationship it works really well. At the beginning I was nervous about it being an issue to my family or people that we meet but it isn't at all. We are planning to marry one day and couldn't be happier!! I am just interested to know if anyone else has a larger age gap too!!

Movin' on up!
I've always been attracted to older men. My first husband was 6 years older, my late husband was 27 years older and my last husband was 10 1/2 years older. Now that I'm 49, I'm finally dating men in my own age group. My preferences haven't changed - I've just caught up with them. I don't date anyone under 45.

The biggest age gap I've had was between myself and my ex-fiance. We were 16 yrs apart. It works so long as both partners accept the difference and don't assume more age brings more knowledge. My ex-fiance was always trying to educate me.

When I was 34, I dated an 22 year old. That was fun.

I am going to guess you are female. At least I have been told everybody on this site is female.
I am 13 years older than my wife (DW, as far as I know, I am the only person using this), and we have been married five years. Age has never even entered the equation at any time. I never give any thought to it at all, it was only the title of your post that drew me here. As far as our personal relationship, age has nothing to do with nothing!!

I have been married before and I was 15 years older and the marriage lasted 17 years. Age had nothing whatsoever to do with our divorce.

Boyfriend is 37 and I'm 29...our birth months are roughly 1 month apart so we're almost 8 years exactly.

The sick thing is though I'm the adult of the relationship.

I'm not in a relationship at the moment, but I tend to date men younger than myself, anyway between 6 and 15 years younger. For some reason I can't see myself with a man older than me, at least not more than a year or two. I've only dated one guy that was older than me and that was only by 6 years, and talk about a generation gap! I was 26 and he was 32 and he acted "old" and didn't have a fun bone in his body it seemed. He kept telling me to "grow up and act your age!" LMAO

Yes I am female!! It all works brilliantly for us too and age has never been an issue in the relationship. I thought at the beginning that people might make comment but nobody did and even if they had it certainly wouldn't have changed my mind. I really don't think it makes any difference at all either, we are definately very happy together!!!
