You gotta be kidding me! Now they're recalling Olives???

Man, i am soo sick of recalls it's not funny! The latest FDA recall is for olives. Here's the direct link. What's next......popcorn? Geesh!

A while back the Canadian equivalent recalled rice snacks, so don't be laughing too much about the popcorn!

oh great! man i'm gonna be ticked if popcorn is next- i eat it all the time! but seriously- Olives- that stinks! i use them all the time! (black olives)

"The olives are made by Charlie Brown di Rutigliano & Figli S.r.l, of Bari, Italy and are being recalled by the manufacturer. No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with this recall.

The olives are sold under the following brands: Borrelli, Bonta di Puglia, Cento, Corrado's, Dal Raccolto, Flora, Roland and Vantia, and have codes that start with the letter "G" and are followed by 3 or 4 digits. All sizes of cans, glass jars and pouches of Cerignola, Nocerella and Castelvetrano type olives are affected."

Thank you I don't recognize those names so I don't think I've bought any in the last month.

dang, i use those alot since anthony is italian and we do a LOT of italian cooking...guess i'll have to substitute with goat cheese - yummy for me! dang for him

Wow and I love olives! I can eat them by the can. I don't know what to eat now. Everything is gettting recalled including mouthwash!

These recalls are pretty frightening. I just feel awful for the ones affected by it.

My household very, very rarely has olives in it.

Yikes!

I don't eat olives but my bf does. I'll have to make sure we dont' have any at home. Especially since it is botulism. That is far more serious than salmonella or e-coli.

You would know if you had botulism. Luckily, you probably didn't eat these olives though it could have been contaminated by all kinds of othr things.

I don't feel safe eating anything anymore.
