What a sneaky little bugger!!

This morning I had made french toast for myself for breakfast- well, I had 1 piece that I didn't eat so I just threw it away.

John & I left awhile ago to go on a motorcycle ride, and we came home to find that 1 piece of french toast on the couch with a few bites taken out if it....

So, I figure there is garbage EVERYWHERE or at least the garbage can tipped over.

What do I find? Nothing tipped over, and nothing all over my kitchen

So I look a little closer, to find claw marks in the edge of the can on the bag. That little bugger- BAYLEY- climbed UP the garbage can and got the 1 piece out of there, hopped down with it and settled down on the couch w/ it!

I know its not Harley - becuase he hates human food, & lets face it, a 17lb cat would have surely tipped over the garbage if he tried to jump up into it!

Its not like he's starving or anything... I swear, I'm gonna need to get a lid for our garbage I think

Just get a web cam (aka BayleyCam) and set it up to record any movement in the house. Then come home at the end of the day to watch it.

Should be fun!

the number one thing found lying around my house is shrimp tails...but like you i never see them get taken! i know it must be Peanuts, cause Socks wouldn't do that...at least he better not be...

That is toooo cute. All our garbage cans (except the bathroom) have lids. They didn't get in them so much as - try to pull them over.

Oh yeah- after I came home, I was sitting on the couch and he came up to me and was all sweet and cuddly... not like thats anything new, but still, I asked him if his supper was good, and he gave me a headbutt

I was going to say....that's probably why he ended up as in the shelter . But then I realized that could easily be why he ended up in the shelter....stray or not. Now I'm sad.

Bayley....next time...steal some leftover cat food so you can share with Harley!
