Out of all the Blue Spa Select choices for dry food which one is the best one? Chicken & Brown Rice, Salmon & Brown Rice, Lite Cat Dry Food, Hairball control dry food, Indoor Dry food, OR Mature Cat Dry food??

I'm going to gradually switch over once we get closer to running out of our current brand of Purina indoor cat food. Although we have been fortunate that there is NO wheat gluten (only Corn gluten) in this paticular brand choice, I want to get completely away from wheat and corn gluten and give them a more balanced and healthier choice of food product.

I just want to know what would really be the best for them. We have 4 cats. One 14 years (with a heart murmur), one 9 years, 3-4 years and another 3 years. Thanks for any input!

What do you mean by extras? Meaning good extras? What other one would you prefer? Nutro? What are the major differences between blue spa and one you would prefer?

By extras I think Jennifer means uneccesarry things. Some foods are very grainy & those are "extras".

Yes I like the Nutro better since they are one meat to one grain ... and the veggies and things are limited .... plus the fatty acids are higher

Blue spa is very good I am just a bit picky....

I always recommend Blue Spa to people adopting cats from the rescue.. it is a good food, and it's alot cheaper than some of those supposed good food like Science Diet.

We feed this to the kittens at the rescue and it does an awesome job.

Our cats hate science diet.
They won't even touch it. I was going to decide between blue spa and nutro. I know I can't go wrong with either one. blue spa here for a 3lb bag is 8.99, 7lb is 15.99, and 15lb is 28.99. I was just going to get the 15lb since we go through food pretty fast with 4 cats.

I would go with Blue Spa even for the sole reason that Nutro has been on the recall list. Some people might be ok with it, but I wouldn't touch that stuff with a ten foot pole right now.
