How did you end up cooking it?

That sounds really good right now, I wish I had one to make!

I ended up baking it in the oven with lots of veggies.

Glad it turned out well

Gravy is pretty easy too.

After your roast is done, remove it and the veggies from the pan and put foil over the meat to keep it warm and allow the juices to settle.

Put the roaster on your stove and bring the juices to a boil. Add 1 can of beef broth, or add some water and use beef boulion mix. Add a can of mushrooms (including the liquid).

In a jar that has a lid, add some COLD water and flour (maybe 1 cup of water and 1/4 cup of flouer). Cover and shake well until smooth. The mixture should be a smooth thickened liquid. If it's too thick, add a little bit more cold water and either shake or stir.

Once you have the right consistency, slowly add it to the roasting pan while stirring. You won't need all of the flour mixture. Let the liquid boil a couple of minutes to cook the flour and thicken the gravy. Add some black pepper and serve.

If you are making gravy and are serving mashed potatoes, keep some of the potato water to use in the gravy because it adds extra flavour to the gravy.

Thanks Natalie!!!

I'm writing all of this down. My mom never had the chance to show me how to cook, so I'm slowly trying to learn on my own.
