Guess what? Tiger is eating wet foods! It is amazing and I never thought it would happen... ahhh he is eating it right now! For those who don't know about Tiger he loathes people food and wet food. He is a dry food addict, well not anymore! He is enjoying his sister's (not really just call them that) felidae as we speak! The best part is that he is actually eating it not just licking! I am thrilled because he is so stubborn! The boy didn't know what he was missing out on! YAY Tiger!

That's wonderful!
I might have missed it somewhere, but how did you get Tiger to start eating canned food? I've got a dry food addict here too, and I think she'd rather die than eat canned food! I really, really want to get her switched over though. Tell me how you did it . . . please!!!

That's great news!! Did you use the power of jealousy / competition...since he always wanted Nollee's food? Do tell, we are waiting for the details.

Well usually Tiger won't even eat his food, he always wants the kitten food! He was on weight management dry food for a year and it only made him fatter! Since he was eating the kittens food I would sprinkle a little of her dry food over his (weight management)...I recently started feeding the kitten wet food because she loves it! Everytime I would put wet food in the kittens dish I would put a small scoop in with Tiger's dry food! Most times he would give it a lick and be turned off (only eating the dry food), I kept doing this and he eventually started licking the wet food constantly! Then I tried giving him a small scoop of wet food with a few dry kibbles mixed in (this way he had to work through the wet to get to the dry)! This morning I decided to feed the kitten first (she gets wet only) and as soon as I filled her dish Tiger came over and dug in, without any dry kibble present! It is still new to him and he doesn't eat alot of it but he is getting there! He wasn't even sure how to eat it and would only lick it up until today! He still wants dry food but I am slowly weening him off! It took alot of patience and baby steps! I am feeding both of them felidae wet at this point, he may not like other formulas but I can't wait to try others when the recall is cleared away! If that ever happens! My kitten also loves Wellness Wet Food (which I haven't givin her since the recall)!
