Dr Claw has found that if he stands on my chest and lightly bites my nose it will scare me out of a dead sleep!

Imagine this... you are sleeping deeply and feel something clamp down on the tip of your nose. As you open your eyes you see a huge pair of blue eyes and whiskers. Panic sets in as you rocket up and the kitty goes flying.

The scary part is he thinks it's fun.

OMG, I have the same alarm that goes off at exactly 5:30 am every day. For Pete's sake Sadie, learn to sleep in until at least 6! (Or, at least start doing this to Daddy!)

Gracie used to sandwich herself in between the pillows and basically do a reverse "Whak-a-Mole" in that she whacks my face, and then goes back into her little hole, so that when I wake up and look around confused she is nowhere to be seen.

So, I feel your pain. Sort of. Without the whole biting thing. And what is it with cats and biting noses? I seriously know a handful of cats who are into that!

Dr Claw has 8-Bit been giving you lessons?

I have the same only it's a pair of dark green eyes and a long horsey face clamped onto my nose. He's realised it gets me awake and yelling which he finds to be a great game. The other one is when he goes and crouches down at the end of the bed. He will wait until I wake up and spot him... staring, staring hard at my face, crouched down.... the bottom wiggle.... the POUNCE onto my head. Waking up to see the little pointy face crouched and staring at you from 5 feet away down the bed is really really creepy. He has such an intense serious looking stare. He's too cute though, you've gotta love him

I get awakened between 4-4:45 a.m. every single morning as Ferris goes hair tie hunting in my bed. Every single morning, LOL.

I guess I need to be thankful I'm not getting my nose bitten.

My Alarm Clock Sassy wakes me up at 6:30 every morning, by sitting on my chest and meowing that his food dish has had 4 morsels of food removed and simply has to be fill up. He doesn't actually want the food but he knows that when I get up the warm spot is all his...
Of coarse I fall for it every morning, it makes it very obvious just who has who trained in my household.

My kitten Starbuck wakes both myself and my hubby up cleaning our faces every morning around 4:30 am. She used to wake us up biting our noses but has stopped with the nose nipping for the most part.

Tegato my 12 year old adult kitty wakes me up around 2am head-butting me for attention.

Ours are generally pretty good, but Stumpy has been waking up earlier lately, and walks around the house "mow mow mow" looking for things to play with.

She loves playing with tissues, and because my allergies are bad at the moment, by the morning I generally have a couple of tissues on my bedside table, so she jumps on the bed, and walks over to the bedside table to try and find tissues. Only she walks across my alarm clock to do so.... And often manages to press the "radio on" button as she walks across it.

We woke with a start the other morning at 5am to "that's the way AHA AHA I liiike it!".

Silly cat....

Sonic turned my alarm clock off one morning during a spell of manic activity - then curled up beside my face for a nap. I dozed off. I was late for work. How you can be late for work when your start time is 1pm I don't know, only I could manage it... and blame the cat

Tomas woke me up this morning again. I do not hear the alarm at all, luckily Tomas let me have 15 minutes extra and then work me up by snuggling and licking at my chin. He and Sho are kitty snooze alarms.

Dr Claw has really come out of his little shell. He's become the most fun loving goofy boy I've ever seen.

I just love him.

I have a complaint to make about my alarm clocks...I have two, if one doesn't work the other follows through with the appropriate nudging, walking over my body and face tapping. However, all this week they have refused to wake me up on time. One time I actually overslept by 1/2 hour. Grrrrrr - but, how much do you want to bet that on Sat. and Sun. they reset themselves and wake me up at 5:45am, even though these are my sleep in days? Anyone want to take that bet? I thought not!

My 5:30 wake up call is darling Tucker batting at my eyelashes!

If that doesn't work he usually presses his nose to mine and purrs until I get out of bed

What is it with our rotten kitties waking us up? That is hilarious about Dr. Claw
/ Kojak woke me up this morning by knocking off everything by my end table near the bed- the noise scared him, so he went flying off the table onto the bed and on me. I about peed myself! That of course woke up Fosters and Whiskey who were sleeping on the bed with me and colin (haha all the boys sleep in the bed
) and when they all woke up of COURSE my foster kittens woke up and demanded their bottles!
No sleep for the weary! It's SUPPOSED to be my day off
I feel ya heather lol
Hopefully Dr. Claw will be soo kind tomorrow as to let you sleep a bit longer before waking u up!
