Awwww...
Good luck on your last day. At least he is offering lunch or some sort of goodbye. Around here no one gets anything their last day (actually most are escorted out right away).

It IS, and it will come along at the right time for you. My advice to you is the same as it was to Kenz: Take it easy for a week or two, rest, relax, and don't stress about it. That something BETTER is just around the corner for you and you WILL find it!

Enjoy that FREE LUNCH!!!

Go and enjoy your free lunch. It's the least they can do for you now. Then leave knowing you were a great worker and they are making a HUGE mistake in laying you off, come home and we will be here until all hours of the night to talk to.

Aww I'm so sorry, I didn't realize that you were being laid off from your job.
I'm sure everything will turn out even better than you expect, but I imagine it must be pretty rough now. It's hard enough to look for a job when you're the one who wants to change, never mind if it's being forced upon you.

I hope you enjoyed lunch. I am sorry you are being laid off. Maybe you need a nice stapeler or computer paper maybe a pen of two. You know for the memories.

I have no doubt you will find a good job soon- stick your chin up and leave there knowing you did a great job at that company and you will do even better at your new one!

Well, since Kenz got her job, I had a gap in my evening prayers. I will put you there and soon you will have a great job.
