well it could be a few things
when does kitty do this ? if its during cuddle time then it can just be a sign of happiness
how old is your kitty and how are kitty's teeth, they may need checking over by the vet

Just like Ann said, it's a sign of being happy or it could be a dental problem.
If this has just started happening i would certainly take her to a vet, but i would be anyway just for peace of mind
