Well I just registered for my classes next semester. My schedule is:

Monday: 10:30am - 1:20pm
Tuesday: 11:30am - 3:20 pm
Wednesday: 10:30am - 5:20pm
Thursday: 11:30am - 5:20pm
Friday: 10:30am - 1:20pm
Saturday: 10:30am - 5:20pm

I've never had a class on a Saturday before. Now all of a sudden, I have 3 classes and a 3-hour lab. Why? Because if I don't do that then I'm gonna have to spend an extra semester here before I can go to a different University for formal training. I'm gonna die next semester.

Phew, that's quite a load! If it makes you feel any better, as a graduate student I spend about from 9am-7pm in the lab/class and then another few hours on top of that at home doing reading/classwork/etc. But Saturday classes? Ick! Best of luck with all of that, I'll send you some {{{{{{{{University vibes}}}}}}}}}}!

Oh goodness... that stinks! But look on the bright side... you can sleep in. When I was in pharmacy school, I had class 8 am-4 pm or 5pm everyday, and two nights a week we had a 6-9 class or lab.

Thanks for the vibes and good luck. It wouldn't be too bad if I was taking some english and math classes but I have 2 biology classes, 1 chemistry class, and 2 biochemistry classes. That's 5 sciences with a 3 hour lab for each one every week. And I'm not even in the faculty yet. This is still all Pre-Veterinary studies. After this I still have a few more years of more, harder classes in Saskatoon.
The only good thing is my cousin is a vet and she lives in Saskatoon. So as soon as I get into the faculty, I could get some help from her if I need it. Even still I'm not going to have any social life for a while. My days will consist of wake up, eat breakfast, go to class, do homework, sleep.

Wow!!! That's a lot of classes. Good luck with that.

This past semester, I have had the lightest load ever as far as class time goes (Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 6 to 8:30pm) but it's also been by far the hardest. But that's history for you... LOTS more reading / research than actual class time.

But yeah, I know the feeling of having tons of school work. Don't worry... even at times when it will seem impossible to do it all, you'll get through, somehow.

I'm here until the summer of 2009 then I'm off to Saskatoon. It's going to be tough to get in though. The vet program in Saskatoon gets about 300 applicants every year from all over Canada and only 71 of them get in and only 20 of that 71 is from Saskatchewan.

Wow! I don't envy you one bit!

Mine is going to be nuts (but nowhere near yours)
I'm:
Monday - teach 6 -9 pm
Tuesday class 8:10 - 10-40 pm
Wednesday - OFF
Thursday - class 8:10 - 10:40 pm
Friday - 5 -9 pm
Saturday 8am - 5pm

The Fri and Sat class are one and thankfully only 5 weeks. I would be upset if they were the whole stinkin' 14 weeks!!!
