I've been browsing the forums for a few days and finally decided to register.
I bought Princess, a silver Egyptian Mau, from a breeder about a week ago and she is finally warming up to me. She was scared at first and mewed all night long, but now she wakes me up only once usually about 7 AM or so, which is still early for me as my husband works second shift, so we usually don't wake till 10.
She makes me tired, but she is worth it. Not once has she tried to hurt me in any way. She still runs from me sometimes, but other times she just walks up and looks at me as if to say "okay I'm in the mood for attention now".
