I got this survey off Myspace from an old HS friend and with Dixie Darlin's post about her reunion, I thought we'd enjoy this one on here!

Ally and Karen. Still my best friends. People worth hanging on to!

2.What sports did you play?
None!

3. What kind of car did you drive?
1983 Buick century....had to sit on one foot to see to drive that thing.....and it stalled if I drove over any puddles. Can't say I was sad when my step-brother killed it! (blew up the engine!)

4. It's Friday night, where were you?
out with Karen!!! Usually just driving around or at her house.

5. were you a party animal?
not at all

6. Were you considered a flirt?
not at all

7. Were you in band, orchestra, or choir?
Chorus

8. Were you a nerd?
Nope.

9. Did you get suspended/expelled?
Me!?! Of course not! And for those of you who didn't know me, I'm completely serious!

10. Can you sing the fight song?
Theres a fight song??

11. Who were your favorite teachers?
Mrs Richards. Miss her still, she even sent me a wedding present when I got married.

12. Where did you sit during lunch?
with the girls from my Floriculture class. I didn't have any close friends in that lunch, but they were cool! Perverts, but cool!

I wish I could!

17. What do you remember most about graduation?
It was hot and I had a really hard time walking across the lumpy football field in my shoes......almost fell a few times....kinda held us up a tad! I had 2 dudes behind me and one was like 'Don't worry Leighann, we'll catch ya if ya fall!' I'm not sure he was totally serious or could have even done it anyway!

Latin, why else take 4 years of it?

19. Where were you on senior skip day?
I worked in the attendance office....I could not skip! At least I didn't bother trying.

20. Did you have a job your senior year?
nope....the good ol days!

21. Where did you go most often for lunch?
the cafeteria, we weren't allowed to leave the school grounds.

22. Have you gained weight since then?
oh yeah! and lost, and gained.....gotta loose a bunch in the next few years before the big 10 yr reunion! Walmart reunions shouldn't count!

23. What did you do after graduation?
college if you mean in the big picture, directly after the ceremony, I had a party with my family and church people.

24. When did you graduate?
2000

25. Who was your Senior prom date?
I don't remember his name but he was Karen's friend from work and he was not....attractive..... Anyone who knew me then probably remembers my prom photos....and what I did to them! LOL!

26. Are you going to your 10 year reunion?
Yep!

I got suspended twice but thats because I went to a school that had a strict uniform policy and I hated the tie and you got suspended for a day if you didn't wear it on days that we had a liturgy.

I honestly don't remember their names.

12. Where did you sit during lunch?
In the cafeteria

yes, I got a job in grade 9.

I went to college

Mike...my boyfriend

Thats still 7 years away so I'm not sure yet

Tennis

Didn't own a car. Drove a Hyundai Elantra (1997) occassionally. Best car I ever had and it was used!

Either at a tennis tournament, at home studying, or trying to study at a tennis tournament!

Nope!

6. Were you considered a flirt?
Hahahah....next question.

7. Were you in band, orchestra, or choir?
No, but had a lot of friends in band.

8. Were you a nerd?
I studied a lot and was a hard worker, but I don't think I was a nerd.

9. Did you get suspended/expelled?
I couldn't afford to ever do either one.

10. Can you sing the fight song?
Nope...hated football..still do! lol

11. Who were your favorite teachers?
Dr. Childs...AP Biology...he tried to talk to my healthcare science teacher into getting me to drop her class instead of his so I could take dual credit at college and still be able to graduate from high school.

12. Where did you sit during lunch?
Mostly found a quiet place to sit with friends. Could have been table, stairwell, wall...anywhere.

Never! I hated high school and how I was treated!

17. What do you remember most about graduation?
I remember graduating with honors and how much I didn't want to go, but my best friend and I went together so the excitement increased once we were waiting in the back to go out. Since I was in the very front row I remember thinking how long it was going to take to go through all 500+ graduates.

18. What was your fav. class?
Any biology class

19. Where were you on senior skip day?
I don't remember that day.

20. Did you have a job your senior year?
No, didn't have time between tennis, high school, and college

21. Where did you go most often for lunch?
Stayed at the high school. I normally didn't eat lunch. Would get sick before practice if I did. Don't ever give me a hot dog before a match...lol

22. Have you gained weight since then?
I've gained about 5-10 pounds over the last 8 years...not too bad, but I want to lose some.

23. What did you do after graduation?
Went to a community college on a full tennis scholarship then transferred to a university nearby to get my bachelor's degree.

24. When did you graduate?
1999

25. Who was your Senior prom date?
N/A

26. Are you going to your 10 year reunion?
Was thinking about it...I've heard some very interesting things about my past teammates...I'd kind of like to see what I'm up against.

We were actually incredibly straight-laced.

Nope! I was considered our "token serial monogamist"

BAND GEEK!!!!!!!! And Dorkestra.

See above.

9. Did you get suspended/expelled?
No, I didn't even get a detention.

10. Can you sing the fight song?
Nopre, and I had actually given up both basketball band AND marching band by my senior year.

11. Who were your favorite teachers?
Mr. Bochenski!!! He's still my favorite!!

12. Where did you sit during lunch?
At a table at either Panera, Chipotle or Portillo's

Um no. It was fun, but I do NOT want to be 17 again. Although, I would like to have my 17 year old body.

17. What do you remember most about graduation?
It poured and it got called off in the middle of roll call because tornado sirens went off (and yes, we were outside).

18. What was your fav. class?
AP Gov! With Mr. Bochenski! But I took a bunch of coll classes my senior year. I really like Independent Lit (show up and read for an hour), Romance and Tragedy (another lit class), US History Through American Film, Golden Age of Greece and Rome, AP Psych/Intro to Clinical, Intro to Teaching (where we got bussed to schools to student teach).....no...my district didn't have money at all...

19. Where were you on senior skip day?
In Alex Beltran's basement watching movies?

20. Did you have a job your senior year?
haha...no.

21. Where did you go most often for lunch?
Panera, Chipotle or Portillo's.

22. Have you gained weight since then?
Less than 10 pounds, but yes.

23. What did you do after graduation?
After the ceremony, i went home and showered. Since I was red from my red cap and gown bleeding all over me during the rain. In the big picture, I went to college.

24. When did you graduate?
2003

25. Who was your Senior prom date?
Funny story....their names were Kyle and Alex.

26. Are you going to your 10 year reunion?
Yep!

The only years I didn't have a job were my Junior and Senior years. I got my first paying job when I was 12 at the local burger joint.

got a B.S., got married, got divorced, got happy, got a Master's, got married, had a daughter

A guy named James. He was boring, so my best friend and I dumped our dates and went out partying.

hmm depends on who you ask i say no, but others said i was huge flirt

i was in jazz band, but then they told me i could not play sports and be in the bands at this school

naw, i was the offical nerd to jock translater. i did not fit in with the groups, but i was also member of the chess club. and some other nerd stuff how i was also good in the football

yep, for smashing in a locker with some guys head who jumped me in the hall way.

11. Who were your favorite teachers?
did not have one my last year that i liked.

hmm there was a couple of tables of girls

that i would sit with.also the girl that was the home coming queen, we used to sit and talk about books all the time.

nope, but i had 3 girls ask me to go, hmm wait i did go with my cousin to her prom, hmm she is gay

naw i had no use for high school college was much more fun

playing D& D over at a friends house, which was much more fun.

Ray Anne. She's now married to my ex, and they're my best friends in the world!

2.What sports did you play?
Guitar and piano.

3. What kind of car did you drive?
For a few glorious months, a 1971 Cougar, shimmery grass green with white vinyl roof and white bucket seats. I let someone else drive one night and he totalled the car, two chicken coops, a pickup truck, a tree, and my left elbow. I still have one of the rearview mirrors as a keepsake...

4. It's Friday night, where were you?
In Pat's father's big ol' 1949 Buick with six other drama kids, driving around downtown Killeen, Texas, with all the windows rolled up and all the doors locked, gawking at the streetwalkers.

I was the most naive and innocent kid in town.

6. Were you considered a flirt?
Wouldn't have known where to begin!

Choir was my life!

Gosh, I don't know! I guess so, but not the pocket-protector kind... just the She's Too Squeaky Clean To Be Any Fun kind.

Not even close. I was a good girl.

Sheesh. I was in choir, you'd think I'd have learned it, but... maybe I've repressed that memory...

Mr. Boltz, our choir director! He was brilliant and funny and a truly great director.

In the choir room, usually playing piano in one of the practice rooms.

As I was driving to the stadium, the radio played that great Paul Simon song, "Kodachrome," which begins with the perfect graduation-day comment:

"When I think back on all the crap I learned in high school
It's a wonder I can think at all..."

Choir! I had it three times a day! I loved to sing more than anything, and I still do.

19. Where were you on senior skip day?
I went to high school in the Dark Ages, before such innovations were devised.

20. Did you have a job your senior year?
Sort of... I was the Rotary Club Sweetheart, so every Wednesday, I had to play patriotic songs on the piano for a group of businessmen to sing along with to open their meeting. At the end of the year, they gave me a set of luggage. I can't believe I was once such a perfect symbol of outdated sexist thinking!

21. Where did you go most often for lunch?
Never bothered to go anywhere... never bothered to eat.

22. Have you gained weight since then?

23. What did you do after graduation?
Fell into a deep depression... moved with my family to Austin... started UT Austin that fall.

Oh, let's not get hung up on dates... Okay, okay, 1974. Before half the people on this forum were born. I'm ancient! I'm older than dirt! I am a dust bunny left over from the Big Bang!

25. Who was your Senior prom date?
He was the younger of two very handsome and popular brothers who were involved in the drama department. He looked like a young blond Michael Landon. He was gorgeous, but withdrawn. I actually liked the older brother better -- he was easy to talk to, and he was very kind to me.

That ship sailed long ago! My 35-year-reunion will be in 2011... and yes, I think it's time I went to one again.

me too but think it was because we moved so much. so far in colllege I have a 3.53 I think. Not great but not bad for a drop out

Too many to count. We had good teachers.

In front of my TV, with ten of my closest friends -- my house was within walking distance. Why eat at the crappy cafetorium (yep, cafeteria + auditorium = cafetorium) when you and your friends can eat your parents out of house and home?

Throwing my little hat into the air.

English. Any kind of English.

19. Where were you on senior skip day?
Senior what day? Why was I not informed?

20. Did you have a job your senior year?
Are you kidding me? I started working in Grade Nine and was bartending by the time I was in OAC (uhh, that's grade 13, which no longer exists, and you can tend bar at the age of 18 in Ontario).

21. Where did you go most often for lunch?
Home, Julie's house or Murray's house -- depends on who had the car that day or if we felt like walking

22. Have you gained weight since then?
Ummm, yeah.

23. What did you do after graduation?
Worked for a year, then went to university. Immediately after graduation there was a big drunken party that I only dimly remember.

1997

25. Who was your Senior prom date?
I went with my friends and made my best friend Murray (purely platonic, like a brother to me) dance with me during "Hey Jude" (which, incidentally, is a ridiculously long song to make a guy who hates dancing dance to).

No.

Skipping out at the local manmade lake (it wasn't named then)

I worked at neighbor's strawberry farm in summer-no job during school year-at the time not many kids had jobs during the school term

We ate at school either hot lunch or something from home.

Oh yeah-I was pretty skiiny in high school-wouldn't like to weigh so little
