Where whiskers abound.
They are creepy and they are right up there with worms and snakes. Any of the above that comes creeping into my home or yard either gets shoveled or Raided. I have 4 cans of Raid constantly available so I don't run out.

I should go to the other thread - the one about ""what is the most unusual thing you would not want to run out of"" - and post RAID.

As long as they don't crawl on me, I am ok with them. There was one of those big black and yellow ones that made the coolest web on my front porch last summer. It was off to the side so we didn't walk through it, so we left alone. If one gets on me, it's toast. I go nuts and scream and squirm until it has gone to spider heaven!

Unfortunetly the same applies here as much as I do not want to harm any lving creature, i can deny that I haven't send many over that rainbow bridge! though I do a little prayer after I've panicked and killed whatever bug it may be and apologize for killing it, I always feel soo bad after

I'm terrified of them. If they're in the house, they've earned death. If they're outside and don't scare me when I'm in the garden, they are allowed to live. If they scare me, they've also earned death. If they are in my shed or garage...death. I was bitten on my hand by a brown recluse. I missed nearly three weeks of work because of it (I scrub in surgery, so my hands are essentially my income.) I've seen pictures of what brown recluse bites can lead to (sometimes the internet can be w-a-y TMI) so I don't muck around with spiders. I don't want them in the house where the cats can get them either. Other bugs, worms or snakes don't faze me at all, but spiders absolutely terrify me.

I'm gonna have to say that I'm generally opposed to spiders. I'm not -- technically -- arachnophobic, as I'm capable of overcoming my fear in order to kill them (or get away), but I do freeze up and have a bit of a panic attack. I also have frequent nightmares about spiders, where I'll lunge out of bed looking for the spider I was sure I saw dangling over my head. My fiance loves it when I do that ...

J is the spider-killer in our relationship (every relationship must have at least one). Spike and Oz also kill spiders (and flies ... and ants ... and small rodents ... and ...). For the most part, I can shriek, point to my nemesis, and then retreat, knowing that one of them will take care of the problem for me.

Spiders totally ROCK
because they eat other, worse insects like mosquitos and wasps and whatever else is dumb enough to blunder into their web.

I don't even mind having spiders in the house - unless they are bigger than a dime, then I freak out, LOL.

Spiders don't stand much of a chance to survive in my home with my cat's and dog's..they all fight over who is going to get it if they do come in..and thats a good thing for me, I just hate spiders...I am terrified of them..

Spiders are the creepist things on earth as far as I am concerned.
However spiders in my household don't stand a chance against Sassy the great and mighty spider killer.
His favorite are dandy long legs whom he feels make a nice light snack.

Yuck

Persi is for spiders! He loves to chase them around and knock them on their back, then knock them back over so they can run and then knock them over again....etc.

I used to be anti-spider (panic attacks) until I got my tarantula.
I can now co-exist with them if they stay off of me and they are not toxic species.
The cats say differently though, as does my brave bug hunting dog

I hate spiders, though I feel a bit of a wuss considering I live in the UK, where the biggest spiders we have are not really that big, and certainly not on par with tarantulas.

Any spider I see in my room will die, any others will probably just be put outside or ignored (if they're already outside)
