Well its that time of year, walking for causes. One of my favourite things to help with. Althogh this year I am coming up a little empty on ideas for fundraising. So I thought I would ask all yo wonderfull TCSERS if you had any ideas

I am doing two walks so far this year

One for the Humane Society on May 5th, and an Aids walk on May 20th.

Slap those ideas on me

Breast cancer is def the one i go for. I was meant to do one last yearr and I raised £1500 for a Breast cancer charity but my mum died (of breast cancer) the week before the walk so I couldn't face it. I guess the money was the main thing though. Well done to you for doing so much, its really hard work but worth it.

I noticed the avoiding your actually question
....I am not sure how it works but can you get sponsors? A pet food company or Petland, Petsmart, possibly a local grooming shop to donate a certificate for the Humane Society walk toward donations over a non disclosed amount or highest donations?

that might be an idea. I think petsmart is already a major sponsor of the walkalong with Purina, but theres some smaller pet shops in town I could check
thanks for the idea!

Awesome! I am happy to help! Maybe even vet or animal clinics would donate a $ certificate......Even if its 20 bucks, it is supporting the walk and feels nice when you get something for something!

Some people will donate 20 times the value of something they may receive in return just because! It just feels great to receive something for something. Heck, I love it when I receive a gift from someone here! I also love giving gifts!
