We always get asked this....

So, to identify colors, I have decided, with the blessings of the mod squad to start a new contest...100 points for the right color and if the cat is purebred, another 100 points for the right breed.

I'll start things slow and easy!

What color is this cat?????

PS. No points for naming the cat!!!!

PPS. Please be reminded that I am usually asleep when most members are awake!!!

My guess is white, but something tells me that isn't the correct answer.

Wait, the cat was just a white DLH - no pedigree...I will advise if there is a breed to be answered!

This one is a purebreed...I've posted this pic before....A bit tough so...150 points for color and 50 points (coz it's easy!!!
) for breed please!!!

I am came up with DILUTE torti/calico and I am sticking to it. Look closely at the cats face, cream above the nose/bridge, blue(grey) near the left ear and around the nose. Unless the variation in the color is a really poor photograph this cat has more than one color on its face.

Plus, Abymummy said the color is a difficult one, so 150 points for color.
Dilute tortie is a tough one, espcially if the points of large color spots verses small intermingled spots come into the discussion to distinguish torti from calico.
