Well I forgot they call the brown tabbies "chestnut" - I knew it was close

With the brown tabbies - they have a range of cold brown to warm red/brown in shading. So the cold browns have more black stripes with the colder black/brown base color - which some like to call "black tabbies".

The warm ones have more of a brown/black stripe with the very warm chocolate-reddish base. Those I prefer over the cold ones. Will search for the two types (maine coons are great for the browns) and post pictures tonite for you all to see the difference.

No idea what the exact colour names are for the Australian Mist (are we allowed to look those up ?) and I'm guessing this cat is cbcb like a Burmese, no idea if red is called red with Burmese or what other name it goes by (now I want to look this up really bad) , I'm thinking it's a sepia (burmese pattern)red silver marbled tabby, but again, no idea what it's called.

I don't think there's any rules about not looking things up here. I would have to look them ALL up...

Wow, I'm impressed that the breed was guessed quickly - it IS an Australian Mist.

One of you was close on the color.

Adilah told me to take over with posting some pics. So you all will get some more tonite
