Why does Juno only like yellow milk jug

Juno's favorite toys are yellow milk jug rings. She will not play with any other color. I was told that cats are color blind but I think not. The ring can be from the same dairy, same size and thickness but just a different color. When she loses the yellow ones she turns her nose up at the others so I have to look in all her hiding places for the yellow ones. She has two. Whats up with this cat?

I do not believe that cats are color blind and I do believe that they can discern patterns and have preferences.

For example, my cats know it is OK for them to claw at rugs that have a leopard print pattern, but not on solid color rugs.

Ferris has a preference for white mice over grey or black, and Ginger seems to prefer the grey ones.

They are very much like like people with permanent fur coats, considering that they each have individual likes and dislikes.

They can be so silly sometimes!

I think they can see some colors and I guess yellow is just his favorite!

i think they have color preferences too. i never bought the whole colorblind thing either.

stimpy likes yellow toys too. raven prefers his red and purple puffballs. nabu doesn't play with many toys, so i can't say if he has a preference.
