Swollen

Well Middie just gave birth yesterday at 12pm, 6 hours later she had 5 kitties.. it's now 3:32am here, and i was bathing her goodies because she seemed to not want to go to the litter to do her business, i thought something was irratating her, while i was cleaning her. i noticed she was swollen down there, the inner part of the lips of her goodies were swollen. Is this normal, since she just recently gave birth??

Anyhow Please reply, will be greatly appreciated.. (I'm pulling an all nighter tonight)

i think they do get a bit swollen for a few days , but iv never really checked as all mine have cleaned them selfs up. at this point i would let her clean herself as she may be a bit sore at the moment.
