Well I went in this morning at 9 to have a cavity filled and the tooth I chipped when i was 12 re filled. Now i have that yucky numb but thawing out feeling in my nose and top lip. It turned out pretty good but still I hate that feeling! Yuck!

Didn't it seem so much easier to have a cavity done when you were a kid. I just had a mercury-based filling replaced with a white one and it bloody well hurt for almost a day and a half. I hope you feel better quicker than I did.

Its starting to thaw out some more and my tooth is starting to hurt a little more now.
That reminds me, I need to call and make an appt

Nope I am drool free. But they did let me leave with white junk all over my face and some black junk on my bottom teeth!

It won't be that bad. I promise. Just make sure you give yourself enough time off of work so you can stay on the pain meds. And be prepared to not be able to open your mouth very wide. That was my main thing. I had to and little bites of things that could fint into my mouth. I could barely open mine the width of my figer for a few days.

Great! Now I have already chipped the new tooth. I am back at the dentist at 8 am. I don't want another shot!!
That's why I ask for the gas! No thawing.
