What are these?

In the past year ive noticed small black spots on lily's nose and on her lips, what are they?

When Cinnamon got them, my vet said they were age spots....nothing to worry about in Cinny's case

i have to say she has started to look older even though she is only 2 years 8 months

Isn't it too bad they don't stay babies forever?

lol i know, having alfie around has probably aged her too he's a little bully

I call them freckles.

Cats can pigment (freckle) with age just as we do and they don't have to be 'geriatric' to notice.

Some cats are more prone to freckling. Your Lily looks like a tabby and some tabbies known as 'mackerels' can get what is called 'peppered nose'.

It doesn't strike me as feline acne, which would be more prominant at/under the chin.

If this bothers her (or worries you at all) call the vet for ease of mind

Your babies are beautiful. I think Lily's freckles really become her.

I think they are quirky & adorable

My calico has one on her lower lip and it can make her look goofy -- like her lip is caught on her tooth, or something

she has them on her lips also
