Okay....so dill is on to hour 5 of light spotting( very light) and she is just sleeping...every 15 minutes or so she jumps up and cleans herself for about 5 minutes and then back to sleep she goes. the kittens are moving around quite a bit much lower now.....its a waiting game I will keep updating as things progress....it seems to take SOOOO long...lol......Maybe Im just impatient.
Dill had 1 kitten at 1am. Unfortunatly he didnt make it he had deformed front paws and she just ignored him and as much as we tried he just couldnt keep breathing. I am pretty sure she has at least one more in there but her labor stopped no more pushing after him. I will keep you posted I know they can stop thier labor or even have a kitten up to 24 hours after the first one.
you can take me off the list tink has had her kittens three beautiful black and white the first was breech so she had a little trouble getting it out but then the others were born within ten minutes each then after, she is a good mum knows exactly what to do just have to get her to look after herself.
Ok...still not entirely sure - but pretty durned sure, you can add Pixie to the list of expectant moms. Pixie's a foundling, I've only had her a little over a week. Vet said she wasn't sure about the pregnancy either. However, neg check on worms - and everything is functioning normally....(no blockages) so odds are belly bump is indeed kittens. Nipples are starting to develop, belly bump is increasing, along with appetite! Our best guess (mine and Vet's) is that she is 3 - 4 works along. She looked a little bit preggers when I got her a week ago - with the teeniest suggestion of nipples starting to form - so that's what we're basing our guess on.
