]...mixed with some 'oral rehydration salt' or 'oral electrolyte solution' [medical name 'peditral']..n they dont seem to like it too well

i found many alternative "glop" recipes on the net..but sadly half the ingredients arnt availible in this part of the world

so i hope u could help me out in finding an alternative for these ingredients
-knox gelatin

Normal milk formula? Do you mean like infant formula? Or?? You should be feeding them kitten formula, whether its store-bought or homemade. I will try and find another recipee for you online. I'm not sure what you could substitute for those items.
BTW you should try posting in the forum, to see if someone really expieranced can comealong and help you.

EDIT:
Emergency Formula Recipes

Formula #1
8 oz. homogenized whole milk
2 egg yolks
1 teaspoon salad oil
1 drop liquid pediatric vitamins (optional)

Mix well and warm before using. Keep refrigerated

Formula #2

1 part boiled water to 5 parts evaporated milk
1/2 teaspoon bone meal per 16 oz fluid

Mix well, refrigerate, warm before using

Formula #3 (do not use if diarrhea is present)
1 can Evaporated Milk
1 egg yolk
2 tablespoons Karo syrup

Formula #4
3 oz. condensed milk
3 oz. water
4 oz. plain yogurt (NOT low-fat)
3 large or 4 small egg yolks

Keep all 4 formulas mixed well and kept in tightly sealed jar in the refrigerator. Mix 1/2 of the estimated feeding amount with one part boiling water. Also, mix 1 drop of human infant liquid vitamins in each kitten's formula. If the kitten(s) become constipated add 1 drop of vegetable oil each kitten's formula once per day. Formula should be served at room temperature or a little warmer. See the feeding schedule below. Simba

I am thinking she is 7 weeks or more. I just can't tell. She got out from April 14-19. We all thought she was gone for good since my soon to be husband and kids were out looking for her for a few days but as soon as I got home she appeared within hours (I think she might like me). So what woudl that put her at?

I went ahead and moved her up to 7 weeks. If she was bred one of those days, I'd say she's about 7 weeks along now.

Well, Trina was bred on the thirtieth of May, so she should be in her second week! I'm not all that sure if she was totally in estrus when it happened, but I suppose it would not have occurred twice if she wasn't at least somewhat willing, so.. you can put her in week 2!

Oh dear god.. I just realized I'm going to have a house full of kittens again, this time with noone to make me find new homes for my favorites!
