My hubby and I have just heard a very strange cat noise outside. We opened the window to see our neighbours noticing the same. Both them and us were worried it was an injured cat (my neighbours thought it was one of our cats...but it isn't).
We all spotted the cat from a distance, it was moving ok but still making the god awful noise. Like a normal cat on heat but 5 times louder. As there was no obvious sign of external injury, I think the cat is possibly on heat... going by the 2 toms I saw lurking nearby. The cat won't let anyone get near it, but it does have a collar on.
So the point of my post is as it did look like a silver bengal - do these cats make a very very loud calling noise? I guess this is one for the Bengal breeders.
My hubby and I have never heard anything like that before! Its what you would expect from a leopard on heat in the jungle.
