I finally got a written letter regarding our furniture. According to the "warranty" company (Debby knows who I am speaking of), it says they will not replace our furniture becase "there is no longer a stain, just the odor & we do not cover odors. The warranty is an accidental warranty, and we are not responsible for the odor." Now, I find their warranty mis-leading, if you ask me. The warranty says "all pet/human bodily fluids are covered" As a result of her peeing, which is a fluid, it left an odor. Maybe they should have put this on their warranty also? So, I filed a complaint with the BBB, saying if they wont replace it, I want a refund + the warranty. I just wonder what the BBB will have to say?

Have you tried vinegar? Mom, always swore by it, when the dogs made a mess in the house. I've found that Febreze works well, too and it smells better than vinegar.

I bought something similar to Febreeze, but it's meant more for pet odors. I just sprayed it underneath where the cushions attach to & the creasing between the cushions and the main frame part of the couch. So, we will see how this works. I think I may just buy a black light from PetsMart to see if there are any "invisible" stains.

Good luck, Tigger! Let me know what happens! Maybe tomorrow I will finally remember to call that "company....(no names mentioned but they really make me mad) and ask them where the replacement arm for my chair is that they said they were "sending right out" back in about February.
It makes me mad that you pay an extra 30 or 40 dollars for an extended warrenty to cover accidents....even if it is your own fault, and then when it happens, and you need to use it, they decide to be jerks about it!!!
